Who is Giorgia/i’mitalish

Giorgia is from Rome, and is a qualified and experienced Italian L2/LS teacher.

She has studied Italian literature, philology, and linguistics in Rome, London, and Oxford, and has obtained the DITALS certification to teach Italian as a foreign language.

She has taught in schools, cultural centers, and universities. In 2019, she launched her Instagram page ©i’mitalish. In 2021, she turned it into a full-fledged business, and in 2024, ©i’mitalish officially became an Italian language school.

A Journey, a Story to Live and Tell

This course is not just a vacation, but an immersive experience in the Italian language and culture. During this week in Tuscany, you won’t just explore breathtaking landscapes and savor authentic flavors; you’ll also create a multimedia travel journal, a project that blends writing, images, and sounds to capture your experience in a unique and engaging way.

How Does the Workshop Work?

There will be three group lessons: Together, we’ll explore writing techniques, useful vocabulary, and creative ways to document your journey.

Interactive and on-the-go activities: During excursions, tastings, and cooking classes, you’ll collect notes, images, and recordings to enrich your storytelling.

Group and individual work: We’ll collaborate on a shared narrative while also giving each participant the space to express their personal perspective.

A final project: A multimedia travel journal combining text, photography, and short audio-visual recording.

What to expect:

Not only will you learn Italian, you will also be immersed into the Italian culture. While you are here, you will:

1. Italian lessons, each and every morning.

2. Have a winetasting experience at Bakkanali, a up and coming winery, where you can sample their wines.

3. Excursions: you will visit cities and medieval villages surrounding the villa, fully immersing yourselves in the rich culture of Tuscany.

4. Make your own pizza night: you will learn first hand how to make your own pizza, in our authentic pizza oven!

5. Learn how to make Italian dishes with our local, in-house chef.

6. Use all our amenities at your disposal. This includes: a sauna, jacuzzi, pool, volleyball court, etc.

7. And much, much more!

Price:

The price includes everything (all your meals, including the ones organized off property; transportation to and from the airport; transportation in general; your accommodation; and all the lessons). The only things not included are your flight and travel insurance.

The price for a single room is 3,850 euros. However, if you book before April 10th, 2025 it’s only 3,750 euros!
